Multiculturalism is a trend of today's cultural development. It has different cultural traditions and values in different countries, different regions and different nations. The Canadian case, there are both indigenous and foreign immigration; there are the Nordic countries with similar multi-language and regional differences in problems, so also has its ethnic and cultural diversity and complexity. The rise of multicultural education in the sixties and seventies in the 20th century in Western countries, which is based on respect for different cultures as the starting point of different cultural groups to promote mutual understanding between the purposeful, planned implementation of an equal education. Canada is in its multi-cultural background to implement bilingual education, not only reflect the diverse cultural needs, but also for countries to develop bilingual education goals, the implementation of multi-cultural perspective of the practice of bilingual education provides an effective reference, but also for our bilingual education provides a useful inspiration. This paper is structured as follows:Introduction: Introduction of this research. It includs the origin, the purpose and significance of the study, methods, concepts defined and research.Part I: Multiculturalism and the rise of multicultural education and development. This section mainly elaborates on multiculturalism and multicultural education in the basic idea, the rise and development.Part II: Canada's bilingual education background. This part discusses the overview of Canada's multiculturalism, multicultural education development and the rise of the Canadian bilingual education and development.Part III: the implementation of bilingual education in Canada. The implementation of bilingual education in Canada from the curriculum and teaching materials preparation, training of bilingual teachers and teaching methods and assessment tests carried out in several aspects.Part IV: Canada, the success of bilingual education, experience and problems.Part V: Canadian bilingual education to our country bilingual education enlightenment. By comparing our bilingual education and bilingual education in Canada, this section discusses how the Canadian Experience of bilingual education, bilingual education, exploring the development of our country road, promoting our bilingual education reform.
