The Research On Poetry Of Liu Song Period In Southern And Northern Dynasties

The paper that mainly researches on Yongwu poetry of Mei Yaochen is separated into four parts to analyze poetry of Mei. The four parts are listed: firstly, three stages of poem's creation, secondly, the causes of creation; thirdly, the contents of Mei's feelings; skills of creation and contribution of Mei Yaochen to Yongwu poem.The first chapter narrates the origin of Yongwu poetry and development of Yongwu poem before Song Dynasty. The part first decides the concept of Yongwu poetry and scope of the Yongwu poem. Then the author summarizes the track of development of Yongwu poetry through the four periods.The author makes a conclusion by herself about the concept of Yongwu poem based on previous scholars.The second chapter mainly studies the general works of Mei Yaochen in different periods and the special distinguishing feature of poetry. The author analyses the causes that Mei Yaochen wrote a lot of Yongwu poetry from two aspects. On the one han, never passing the provincial civil service examination under the old Chinese examination system all his life and the lost of his relatives brought his heavy strike, he only beguiled his sorrow by writing Yongwu poetry; the other hand, the court thinks highly of the scholars and provides generous circumstances and material foundations for the scholars. Meanwhile, the author analyzes deeply the causes that Mei created a lot of Yongwu poetry from subjective and objective aspects.The third chapter thoroughly analyzes subject-matter and feelings bored by Yongwu poetry. Through analyzing the subject and content of poetry of Mei Yaochen, the reader can see clearly Mei Yaochen's feelings to plants. For example, Yongmei poetry convey that Mei was fond of plants. Farming tools poetry delivers Mei's sympathy of farmers. At the same time, Mei also wrote many animal poetry which expressed his patriotic feelings.The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the character of Mei's poetry. Firstly, the author analyses the artistic form. Mei Yaochen is the man of pursuing of creativity. No mater what subject of poetry, contents of poetry, or the methods of create, and he tries his best to get rid of fetters and handcuffs and underline his unique feature. At the same time, Mei Yaochen learned the creative means of poetry from the famous poets Dufu and Hanyu.He liked writing the subjects that previous writer never created or they wrote less. He wanted to separate from the traditional path and highlight his own characters. He wrote as he wrote essay. The methods he created influenced a lot of later writer, such as Sushi and Huang Tingjian.
