A Historical Interpretation Of "Journalistic Literary"

As a proposition,"journalistic literary"has been used as an academic concept in 20`s of the 20 century at the very beginning of Chinese native journalistic study. In 30`s of 20 century, some articles and monograph about"journalistic literary"appeared. At that time, the study about"journalistic literary"focus on the Journalese used in press, and the study of writing methods in the press. We can call it as"A part of the study of the press".When Reportage were popular in China, the"journalistic literary"was similar with it in definition,characteristics,and writing methods. But they became different Journalese after some years.In 70`s-80`s of 20th century, the"journalistic literary"came back as a hot topic. A lot of articles and monograph appeared in Taiwan and Hongkong, People tried to reinterpret the definition,characteristics,scale,and style of"journalistic literary". After that a hot debate about"supplement and journalistic literary"happened among the scholars in the motherland in 80`s 20th century. This debate is about three topics:whether the definition of"journalistic literary"was authorized; whether"journalistic literary"can be regarded as a new journalese; whether literary methods can be used as news writing methods. But this debate ended without a conclusion.From then on, The"journalistic literary"often be mentioned in the study of supplements. At the beginnings of this century, a special historical research about"journalistic literary"came into being. In recent years more and more people show their interesting in"journalistic literary".But in each period, those explanations and understandings are different from each others. On the one hand, the researcher's different standpoint and perspective lead to different ideas; on the other hand, the term itself is full of polysemous and ambiguous.The emergence of this proposition is inevitability. Does the existing of this term still has its necessity and rationality?The theoretical investigation the concept,the style and the usage of literary methods in news writing,all of them need to be reinterpreted.
