Klimt's Style Of Art Research

Gustay . Klimt ,representative of Vienna Secession in Austria, created new and original painting style,and he leaded a trend development of culture and art in Austria,his painting style spreaded far and wide ,and deeply influenced on the drawing and other art development in later ages. Bravely breaking from the Western painting tradition, he absorbed the elements of Oriental Art and combined it to the west painting techniques ,and then come into a highly personalized style of decorative symbolism and expressionism. This article researched about Klimt's special painting style,and to expound the inherently meaning of the human life through a skill of the decorative symbolism and expressionism in his painting. Klimt reviewed tradition drawing art from a new angle and bravely use the resource of the Oriental Art,and made his painting showing a strongly oriental decorative flavour. His painting showed strongly innovative spirit which is necessary, and it is one of the inherent and essential elements of the contemporary painting of art. And because of which, researching Klimt's art style in this article has a vital significance and aesthetic value. The article divides into four departments to fully and newly showing Klimt's special painting style.Part one: Analyzing the cause of Klimt painting style which came into being, the author pays attention to every detailed about it, that is, through researches the background, the European movement in art, influencing on oriental and try to explain why Klimt's drawing style changed, the author found that Klimt had strongly innovative spirit, and under the impact of new arts and culture he changed his painting style.Part two:Elaborating Klimt's unique painting style features,author analyzed Klimt's formal language of his painting through composition of his works forms and formal language of his works.Part three:From the portrait subject, landscape theme of Klimt's painting,author tried to explore deeper meaning under the theme of his paintings.Part four:Mainly discussing how about the Klimt's painting style had influenced on western and Austria development of arts at that time, and discussing how about the Klimt's painting style influenced on future development of art in world wide.
