The Value Of Falsetton In The Singing And Teaching Of The National Vocal Music

All the sound voice has two kinds of functions. One is to give out the true sound, the other is to make out falsetto. A well-performed singing is the results of the combination of this two functions and the national vocal music has no exceptions. Therefore, this paper systematically and comprehensively expounds and summarizes the value of falsetto in the performance and teaching of the vocal music. It is composed of three parts:Part one is about the discrimination of falsetto.I.Definition of falsetto. The author anlyzes both advantages and disadvantages of the present definition on falsetto and puts forward her own viewpoints, holding that falsetto should be the sound caused by the resonant effect of the falsetto function movement of the vocal cords and the relevant resonance of the head cavity.II.Classification of falsetto. The voice is produced by the coordination of the vocal cords and the resonant cavity. According to the different resonant cavities used in giving out sound, falsetto can be divided into three types: (1) falsetto without resonance; (2) falsetto with single resonance; (3) falsetto with mixed resonance. The author here analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of these three types of falsetto.III.The objective appraisement of four types of voices of the artistic voices in the national vocal music: the artistic true sound-. the artisticfalsetto combination of the true sound and falsetto mixture of the true sound and falsetto. The author appraises their advantages and disadvantages to discuss the value of falsetto.IV.To illustrate the extant form of falsetto in former national artistic singing.Part two is the application of falsetto in the performance and teaching of the national vocal music.I. It redefines the sphere of the national folk music and holds that all the Chinese style are the art of Chinese national vocal music.II.It expounds the application of falsetto in the performance of the national vocal music, and draws the conclusion that in the vocal music compositions with different styles, the proportion of the true sound and falsetto in the full range is different.III.Through expounds the application of falsetto in the teaching of the national vocal music, it draws the conclusion that the man voice can be divided into the true sound, falsetto and the mixture of the true sound and falsetto and the application of falsetto is different for different types of voices.Part three concludes the value of falsetto in the performance and teachingof the national vocal music objectively and scientifically.
