The title of this essay "V ii/T" indicates the structure "verb attached by ±./T". Based on previous research and Chinese Language Teaching as a foreign language, we can divide "V ±./1"into 3 parts, "V in 1/~F i" "V I. 2/T 2" and "Vii 3Et' ~"Vii ~/T~ 1"indicates the tendency meaning, showing somebody or something's movement (zuoshang che); "V I 2/1 2" indicates the result meaning, showing the result of the action(Aishang yige ren); "V ii 3/T ~ indicates the aspect meaning, showing the beginning, extension, completion or accomplishments of the action or state(ni zenrne you yanjiushang zhexue le?).As for "V in ~/i~ i" "V in 2Ef' 2 ,we can subdivide them into more detailed categories according to their meanings and analyze them both structurally and semantically. In the field of Modem Chinese Grammar Research, "aspect" is still not fully understood. In this essay, with the help of Carlota Smith's Theory about Aspect, we consider "V in 3/1 3 as showing aspect meaning of "completion" ,"impeffect", and "accomplishments". Furthermore, we divide the verb family into 2 parts, the Lasting Verbs and the Instantaneous Verbs from a temporal point of view. Generally speaking, lasting verbs show imperfective aspect meaning, while instantaneous verbs show the aspect meaning of completion and accomplishment. In order to investigate the verbs in 'V 1/T", we use some literary works by various authors amounting to more than 500,000 Chinese characters, as our language sources, and analyzed the "V 1EV" from different viewpoints. We find that in "V liT", one -syllable verbs are much more frequently used than two-syllable verbs. We consider this to be a result of the rhyme scheme in the Chinese Language. Afterwards, we investigate the 2117 verbs in "The Dictionary of Use of Verbs", and find there are 411 two-syllable verbs can be used in the structure of "V in/I"; these verbs' ability to take "V in i/I ~" "V in 2/F 2 "V in 3/ T~ ~ after them is very different, but they most frequently combine with "V in ~ ; Only the coordinative two-syllable verbs can combine with "V in t/ T i" "Vii 2EV 2Furthermore, from Cultural & Linguistics stand point, we analyzed the reason why "1EV" take verbs differently in expressing ideas. We summarize the semantic meaning of "I/I" as [shang: from a lower place to a higher place, high status, difficult to get/reach, seriously, respectfully] [xia: from a higher place to a lower place, low status, easy to get/reach, pay little attention to , modest].In the last section, we compare "V in" with "V b", and "V I" with "V 912~~.
