The Study Of The Stability Of Agriculture In Huangfan Plain In Qianlong Period Of Qing Dynasty

It has been the main agriculture region of China in Huangfan Plain from ancient times. Huangfan Plain was the main grain-producing area ten century ago. But after ten century, the environment in the development of agriculture has become more and more deteriorate. Since Song Dynasty the development of agriculture has been instable. The natural calamity occurred frequently, which influenced the agriculture developing and the living of the presents heavily. In fact, it is very important for the stability of agriculture to develop the agriculture, I study the stability of agriculture in Huangfan Plain and restricted elements. So that we can not only find out what the agriculture was in the plain in Qianlong Period, but also instruct the agriculture developing nowadays.So far, the research on this field is not enough. It is just discuss the level of the agriculture production. The work concerning the stability of agriculture and restricted element is lacking. This is the reason why I choose it.The dissertation contains 4 parts.1 .The situation of the agriculture and causing the effect. In this part, by means of analysis, author elaborated the situation of the agriculture is instable. The natural calamity especially floods was frequent. Under these circumstances, it was worse in early stage than that in later stage in Qianlong Dynasty. This situation had affected on the living in this area.2.The difference among the region about the stability of the agriculture. According to the analysis of the data. Author draw a conclusion, the agriculture in the Prefecture of Kaifeng and the prefecture of Xuzhou, henna province is the best .On the countrary , the agriculture in the prefecture of Xuzhou, Haizhou, Jiangsu province and the prefecture of Jining, Shandong province, is the worst. The reason involves in both subject and object factors.3.The elements restricted the stability of the agriculture. The elements involve fiveaspects: the natural condition; the increasing of the population; the step of taking precautions against the calamity; the irrigation works. Above all, the natural condition is the most objective reason. The irrigation works are the mainly subjective elements.In a word, as for the developing of the agriculture, the natural condition is very important, but the people's action is also important. To a great extent, the reasonable policy and irrigation works can safeguard the stable development of the agriculture.
