Thirdly, Wu Mingshi gave up his love in order to realize his ideals .He expressed his view on love, his appreciation for women' s independence and his tendency to look at women as objects in his works. Finally, Wu Mingshi often applied means of symbolism to probe into the inner world , as is similar to <>.In summary , this thesis focuses on language, style and love stories of Wu Mingshi and aims at the important place of his works in modern Chinese literature.
