Through a half-century growth and development, Chinese accordion music creation processes to its prosperity, which characterizes in the variety of the content and multiplicity of composing style.In this prosperous Chinese accordion music sphere, the adapted accordion music from traditional music occupies the most important position in accordion music composition with its rich national style and unique temperament. Focusing the study on the five chosen pieces of the most representative adapted music, this article aims to analyze their composing style and performing characteristic, hence to strengthen the artistic value in the development Chinese accordion music. In this way, the author hopes to call on people's attention and care/to traditional music culture, which can further push forward the development of Chinese accordion music. This thesis falls into four parts:1.Introduction: This part illustrates the importance of the adapted accordion music, the present significance of this study, and the main content of the thesis.2.Body part: This part is the arguing part of the thesis which is subdivided into three sections:(1)General introduction to the performing style and the content of the originalmusic, and to the five chosen adapted accordion music.(2)The characteristics of composing style of the five chosen adapted accordionmusic. This part is a general analysis on their characteristic from the aspects oftitle, melody, chord, and texture.(3)The performing characteristic of the five chosen adapted music, which placesemphasis on their tone, rhythm, spirit and rhyme.3.Conclusion: The principle and direction of accordion music composition in China, which is derived from the analysis and summary of the artistic values of these five chosen adapted music.
