Inter-osculation And Coincidence Between Economic Man And Moral Man

The issue to economic man & moral man is an old problem. With the rapidly growing of socialist economy modernization construction in China, the issue has not being passed away, and what's more, this country is in the face of great perils never before encountered. In this dissertation, let us renew the issue, then rediscover what theoretical significance and practical value may be. Keeping to the Marxist stand, we analyze economic man 's and moral man's humanity, explain what their inter-osculation-ship is. By starting logically with the hypotheses about economic man's and moral man's humanity, we make it clear that economic man has rightful morality status and that moral man has legitimate economy rights, separately, proceeding from economic man's moral dimension and moral man's economic dimension. Therefore, it is proved that economic man and moral man could be in a state of coincidence. In conclusion, "interosculation first, then coincidence". So, the dissertation has always centred on above fundamental theme of which will probe into the following sections:1. Economic man's and moral man's comprehensive definition. This section traces back to the historical background advancing the hypotheses about economic man's and moral man's humanity, follows the trail of economic man's and moral man's connotation, refining their characteristics, conclusively, achieves economic man's and moral man's comprehensive definition.2. Economic man and moral man's inter-osculation. By starting logically with the hypotheses about economic man's and moral man's humanity, and with Adam Smith's Problem, this dissertation analyses the interrelationship between economic man and moral man to bear out their inter-osculation-ship, while approaching human being's humanity and sociality from Adam Smith's emotivism's and Marxism's angles.3. Economic man and moral man's coincidence. On the basis of their inter-osculation-ship, we make it clear that economic man has rightful moral status and that moral man has legitimate economy rights, separately, proceeding from economic man's moral dimension and moral man's economic dimension. The dissertation suggests that economic man seek for not only economy but also morality, moral man seeking after both morality and economy. Consequently, it is proved that economic man and moral man could be in a state of coincidence.
