Shuowenjiezixizhuan was the first book in the Shuowen study history which carried the earliest comprehensive study about Xushen's Shuowenjiezi, the writer was Xukai ,who lived in Nantang Dynast. Among the four most famous scholars in Shuowen study area in Qing Dynasty ,Duan Yucai and Guifu took the most early and deeply study about Shuowen, their representative works respectively were Shuowenjiezizhu and Shuowenjieziyizheng, both of which have been enjoying high reputation in academia, and left large influence on latter study in Shuowen .This article will pay attention to the three books' concrete annotation contents, take an investigation on the inheritance and development that Duanzhu and Yizheng had got from Xizhuan.Xizhuan exerted a far-reaching influence to Duanzhu and Yizheng,Xvkai corrected Li Yangbing's falsehood, refuted the popular vulgar errors, and annotated Xushen's remarks from many aspects, For example ,pointed out jiajie (to make use of another character which with the same or similar sound) and yinshen (extended meaning), pointed out the contemporary characters of ancient ones, cleared up the archaism with present language, etc. DuanZhu and Yizheng accepted enlightenments in many aspects from Xizhuan, it's especially embodied in Duanzhu, on the problems of languages and characters that Xukai mentioned in Xizhuan,Duan Yucai took the mostly special concerns in his explanatory notes, he quoted the relevant illustrations, and gave elucidation to the problems, then offered more evidences for Shuowen. Guifu in Yizheng paid his most attention to collecting and quoting illustrations,so that offered a concrete and plentiful language materials for Shuowen,so the influence Yizheng accepted from Xizhuan was smaller than Duanzhu. On the other hand,Duan Yucai still put forward his own different opinions towards the problems of languages and characters that Xizhuan mentioned, showing a comparatively objective academic spirit.Though GuiFu had quoted more from Xizhuan, he seldom commented on them,he usually used Xukai's point views as one kind of his numerous materials. Through comparison we'll find out, in Duanzhu,a lot of contents of annotation or elucidation stemmed from a concern aboutthe problems that XuKai involved. With the three annotating books, this article will try to take a concrete comparison study through such several annotation contents: jiajieyi (the meaning of a character taken on by another character which with the same or similar sound ) , yinshenyi(extending meaning) gujinzi(ancient and contemporary characters) , explaining the ancient language with the present language, etc.Firstly, about jiajieyi. XuKai in his Xizhuan paid close attention to jiajie phenomena, Duanzhu received enlightenment and influence from Xizhuan obviously, at the phenomena of jiajie that XuKai pointed out clearly, DuanYucai always quoted materials to prove them; at the phenomena of jiajie that XuKai involved but did not point out clearly, DuanYucai then cleared them up and also put forward illustrations to verify them, at the same time when DuanYucai had discrepant opinions with Xizhuan, he pointed it out and corrected it in his own opinion. But Yizheng just mentioned the jiajie phenomena in slighting words, often had no comment on such problems that XuKai pointed out, it didn't take the same concern about such language phenomena as Duanzhu did.Secondly, about extended meaning. XuKai paid close attention to word's extended meaning, and involved them in his annotation notes, but he seldom pointed them out clearly. DuanYucai always can point this phenomenon clearly, and gave a further investigation about the character's other extended meanings; GuiFu in his explanatory notes paid more attention to collecting the illustrations of the original meaning of characters, gave little common on the extended meaning, he received relatively small influences in his explanatory notes about extended meaning in Xizhuan.Thirdly, about gujinzi. Some characters ranked in Shuowen's text belonged to...
