This paper takes the bidialect, which is composed by Xintian mandarin and Xintian Tuhua in Hunan province, as the object. It introduces the present situation, the main phonetic features of the mandarin and Tuhua, compares the similarities and differences of the bidialect, makes a thorough inquiry on the degree of their phonetic influence with each other, and on the basses of which, it forecasts the develop trend of the bidialect. There are six parts of this paper: The first part is introduce. The second part is phonetic system of the bidialect, including phonetic system of the mandarin and phonetic system of Tuhua. The third part is comparison on phonetic factors of bidialect, including minute comparison and explanation on initial consonants, vowels, tones, and syllables between Xintian mandarin and Xintian Tuhua. The fourth part is comparison on some important phonetic laws. The fifth part is about the degree of the bidialect's influence and the develop trend of Xintian bidialect. The last part is conclusion. We consider that Xintian mandarin and Xintian Tuhua have coexisted at the same place for long time and animates on the oral of the residents in the form of bidialect. They contact with each other and influence each other, which leads to the great changes of their respective phonetic system. But these changes are not natural, the level of their contact and influence is not high and it maybe has linguistic reason, social reason, and historical reason as well. The difference between Xintian mandarin and Xintian Tuhua is great. The weaker dialect dies out, which leads to the disappearance of the bidialect phenomenon, is the inexorable trend of the linguistic change in bidialect areas. But what special is that this develop trend in Xintian is not for the reason that Tuhua, which is weaker, is changed and assimilated by the mandarin, which is stronger, but for the reason that people from Tuhua areas give up using Tuhua and alter to the mandarin.
