Language is an important part in the culture of human beings, and is also the form and means in formation and transmission of the culture of human beings; at the same time, the culture of human beings has a restrictive and decisive effect on language.Language is an important carrier of culture. The formation, development and transmission of a nation depend on language. Every aspect of language displays a profound cultural implication; however, lexicon is one of the most crucial factors, carrying a multitude of cultural content, that is to say, 'associative meaning of culture'.Because of the effect of custom, religion, ethnic mentality, social culture, historic background, natural and geographic environment, various social groups which speak different languages form their own ethnic specialty and ethnic color in the long history, and mainly reflect on the meaning of lexicon. By studying and contrasting the cultural accompanying meaning in the meaning of lexicon, we can clearly discover the relationship between language and culture, which can contribute to learn and grasp a foreign language.
