Everyday life narrative, as a prominent phenomenon in novel creation in the 1990s, has been receiving more and more attention in literary world. The thesis explores the relationship between the aesthetic ideas of everyday life and novelistic creation, laying special emphasis on its concrete morphology of manifestation in the 1990s. It strives to understand and grasp the aesthetic ideology of everyday life in a whole way, and thereby, to explore the influence exerted upon the textual surface form and deep form by everyday life narrative. The introduction defines the connotation of everyday life; affirms the ontological status of everyday life and expounds the socio-cultural context in which everyday life narrative is generated.Part One, writing morphology of everyday life.Everyday life has universality and stability; however, it is not fixed and unchangeable. Actually, it is different with people, time and place. Everyday life narrative in the 1990s has more complex and sophisticated manifestations, which have demonstrated three aesthetic morphologies: "urban everyday life", which attracts the greatest enthusiasm of authors in the 1990s, who thinks that there exists more flexible everyday urban existence, and not only searches everyday life "core" in the alleys and lanes but also finds everyday life with new essence in the sight of desire existence in the modern metropolis; "countryside everyday life", which concerns the rhythm and mechanism of countryside life itself. Under the depiction of those writers, the countryside life becomes particularized and aestheticised, and therefore a place forexpressing their worldly emotions; "everyday life in historical context", which is the product of various mixed and intersected meanings in specific cultural situations. History is weakened as the background of narrating everyday life; "mainstream history" is shattered by the suffering pilgrim and spiritual traces of the common people in everyday situation, and accordingly, history has become everyday life history full of contingency.Part Two, prominence of doubly-oriented value of everyday life. The establishment of novelistic everyday life narrative position brings reversion of value position and gives identification with the thinking logic and value orientation of everyday life. This value orientation is embodied in two dimensions. On the one hand, it concerns the world through the position of the commoner standard: prayer and persistence of worldly love and marriage, extolling of traditional ethic emotion and folk spirit, making people feel a warm sense of being "at home"; on the other hand, the trend of pragmatism and empiricism and repetitive character demonstrated in the structural schema of everyday life leads to the degradation, materialization, vulgarization and desire objectification of everyday life.Part Three, textual construction: entangled with everyday life. The everyday life narrative novel in the 1990s embodies aesthetic logic of its own in its textual construction. First, it refuses to load the grand narratives of social and historical themes in its textual content; on the contrary, it concentrates on particulars of everyday life. Novel creation directly corresponds to everyday life and accumulates or expresses everyday experience by metonymy, thus embodies and satisfies readers' everyday aesthetic habit. Second, once the character of the one dimension of everyday time gets implemented in the operation of textual content, it would demonstrate lifedynamic linear structure ordered by natural time sequence or logic, which makes the narrative become clearer and more concise. A novel in the 1990s derives their structure from everyday life realities, and meanwhile suspends and defers the progress of the story and reduces the intensity of expressing it. On the one hand, details become the hinge of textual narrative; the author no longer pays any attention to dramatic effect of plot and structure but makes every effort to manipulate life particulars; on the other hand, repetition is another factor that...
