The Environmental Art Design And The Spiritual Ecology

Today all of peoples are facing with very serious disturbances of the spiritual ecology. The study on modern ecology is extended to the research on the spiritual ecology. The spiritual ecology is mainly being used to study the relationship between human and environment, the former is the subject of spiritual status, the later is the space that human being is living now. In this paper, based on a large number of demonstrations, the relationship between the environmental art design and spiritual ecology is analyzed by two major aspects of the psychological ecology and cultural ecology. The vast function of environmental art design is discussed, which can improve spiritual ecology environment.The ecophysiology and the psychology of appreciation to beauty are also touched by the psychological ecology in environmental art design. Which includes the application of ergonomics, the consideration of the ecological characteristic from a weak crowd, the application of the principle of ecological sensation, and the construction of psychological ecology environment. In ecological sensation, the psychological reactions of peoples are affected by a serial of environmental art design factors, such as form, rhythm, color, space, quality of material, scale, illusion, light, treatment with information, and so on. The environmental art design should be suitable to the characteristic of human physiology and psychology. The mental aberration phenomenon induced by unhealthy circumstance could be adjusted and compensated by certain special style of the environmental art design, and from which the optimization of psychological ecology is resulted.
