An Research On The Non-Poem Tendency Of The Contemporary Poems

In recent years, the non-poems became the main tendency of poems. But the criticism of poetry has not paid sufficient attention to the "non-poem tendency" in contemporary poetry. From the viewpoints of close reading on text, this dissertation will study carefully the non-poems appeared from 1980s to the end of century, and to find the non-poetic causes of the contemporary poems.The article is divided into four charters. In first charter of the article, the concrete meaning of "poem" is redefined; and its essential poetic characteristics are pointed out. The second charter discusses the non-poems in1980. This section also touches upon the poetic propositions raised by the '90s poets and related to poetry-writing. Discriminating these essential poetry propositions will finally contribute to find real reasons of non-poems from the complex situation of the 1990s poetry. The poetry propositions involved contains language ideology, abandoning the metaphory, rhetoric idea writing standpoint, etc. The third charter analyzes the non-poems in the end of century. This charter not only recounts the important views of poets, but also analyses these views combining with the ages background, theoretic content and writing experience. In the second and third charters, this thesis carries out close reading on text. Based on the analysis of specific non-poems above, the conclusion reflecting the author's view of the research on the non-poems has been drawn in the fourth chapter.
