This paper attempts to analyze and explore predicate-complement construction in a dynastic, special way. From the historical river of the development of Chinese , we select the cross section ,i.e. the Yuan Dynasty to describe and explain the verb-result form,verb-direction form and possible-form of predicate-complement construction in Thirty Kinds of Zaju Printed in the Yuan Dynasty, and also explore the distribution condition ,characteristics of form and semantic feature of them in the period of historical development in the Yuan Dynasty. We lay our emphasis on the inference of the following questions. First , what constructions came into being in the Yuan Dynasty and the reason. Secondly, what constructions existed in the Yuan Dynasty and why they could exist . Thirdly, what constructions had been developed in the Yuan Dynasty and why they could develop .And lastly , what constructions disappeared in the Yuan Dynasty and why they did so. In our opinion, we should reconsider the relating conclusion that the various forms of the formation and development of the predicate-complement construction in the Yuan Dynasty which displayed the form such as the superfoot model, the separation model and the mixed model. Predicate-complement construction, whose construction form, formation of syllable, the extent of grammaticalization, the composition of constituents, together with grammatical function, semantic meaning and pragmatic context displayed a special characteristic in Thirty Kinds of Zaju Printed in the Yuan Dynasty , has its own peculiar mechanism. The development of the affirmation and negation of the possible forms were still in a phase of imbalance development in the Yuan Dynasty, hence the pattern that the position of objects always set behind the whole of the predicate-complement construction had completely matured and established in the Yuan Dynasty.
