Kaufman assessment battery for children (K-ABC) is an individually administered measure of intelligence and achievement. Measures intelligence using simultaneous and sequential mental processes. Ages: 2-6 through 12-5. Administration Time: 40-90 minutes. Benefits of K-ABC is easy to administer, score and appealing items make assessment enjoyable for children and in-depth assessment all children's verbal and nonverbal abilities.Based on research and theory in cognition and neuropsychology, the K-ABC defines intelligence as a child's ability to solve problems using simultaneous and sequential mental processes. K-ABC measures intelligence separately from achievement. This research is the first trial research on Kaufman assessment battery for children in China. Learning the method of K-ABC can provide references for compiling our mainland intelligence test.Translate the K-ABC global scales and modify some subtests, particularly modify the cross-cultural achievement scale, form the K-ABC sinitic trial edition. Report the result of the trial research on the difference ability between China children and American children, the difference between simultaneous and sequential mental processes, analyze influence factors on children achievement, family education background is one of the key factors.Based on this research, probe into the uses of subtests, interpret the result of individually administered measure, and analyze the characteristic of K-ABC.
