Xinan Lianda is a union of Peking University,Tsinghua University and NakaiUniversity during the War. Hundreds of famous intellectuals and the most excellent students madeit one of the best universities at that time. Lianda had many communities, presses and otherpublic-spaces, not only public domain, but also public space of natural. Intellectuals constitute theintellectual-communities of their own by their relation-net. But these intellectual-communitieswere not in same character, the paper would took them into three types: learning and literature,talking politics and joining in parties. Intellectuals entered certain or some certain types ofdifferent intellectual-community according to their own cultural interest, faith and political trend, sothat they possessed multiple identities. They realized for the identification of multiple self -identity by the various ways inside it, between them as well as the contact among the society andthem. Democratic Weekly Magazine, this intellectual community, had the most complicatedidentity in all the intellectual communities at that time. The members of them were not only thecollege teachers who transmitted wisdom and imparted knowledge, but also the congressmen thatdid not forget the great matters and the senators who devoted their lives to participating in thegovernment and political affairs. Finally, the paper would take the intellectual-community of theDemocratic Weekly Magazine as an example to discuss the issue of the approval of the intellectualmultiple identity.
