Along with the development of humanistic psychology, great importance has been attached to the affective factors as well as the cognitive ability since the 1970s. Owning to affective factors' direct influence on foreign language learning, language teachers should understand and respect learner's affect and bring its use into full play. As the most important interactive object, the teacher's classroom behavior bears greatly upon the students' affective changes. According to the constructive view, the teacher's beliefs are able to influence teaching behavior more greatly than his knowledge, and accordingly, to influence the process of learning. As a reflective practitioner, the teacher should set up proper teaching beliefs so as to guide his teaching process in self-reflective method.Based on the theoretical framework of humanism, SLA (Second Language Acquisition), social constructivist model, the study aims to investigate the relationship between teacher's beliefs and the students' affective factors, and how teacher's beliefs will affect the changes of the students' affective factors.The research process is an action research combining quantitative methods with qualitative methods in the period of one semester.
