Persevering Pursuit

This paper is divided into 5 chapters totally, in which the former 4 chapters respectively introduce and analyse Ai Qing's growing up, the art of the poetry, the development of art and the contribution of poet with the influence on the future generations. There is nothing important in the 5_th chapter, just like concluding remarks.While I am narrating the growth process of the poet, I stress on describing Ai Qing's minds during early years and the schooling experience and analysing how they affected the poet and the poetry.In the chapter that discusses the art of poem, it stresses on the speciality about the forming of images, the selection of the images, the structure and languages. Then I narrate the attraction of Ai Qing's poem.In the 3_th chapter, I mainly discuss the style change because of the unceasing change of environment and mood. I try to grasp the train of thought and analyse the reason of style change.Then, from many historical data, I want to confirm that Ai Qing's poem has important influence on "July" poets or someone at the same time and later. It mainly contains two aspects: ideological intension and the artistic tactic of poem. Finally, with brief words, I point out that Ai Qing had been pursuing light and freedom all his life and never stopped.
