Several pairs of antinomy relations exist in the vocal music art practice, or in the consolidation of singing state, or in the comprehension and demonstration of the work, or permeating through the whole process from the consolidation of singing state to the artistic demonstration of the work. Without the realization of the relations between these antinomies or being incapable of grasping and handling these relations with accuracy, one can hardly make from the consolidation of singing state to the complete expression of the work. We can not split those problems arisen in the process in our diagnosis. Only if we can elaborate and demonstrate, in a macro view, these contradictions, the relations between them and the relation between part and whole, can we enable the students to achieve a comprehensive knowledge and a thorough understanding of vocal music art practice, and to master it from a panoramic view, so as to have a definite direction and an explicit method to learn vocal music art. In this research paper, the author will carry on an overall treatise of the above questions, respectively in five parts, from the angle of view of himself.I. Tight vs. Loose"tight" and "loose" are the technical terms frequently used in vocal music teaching and fulfillment Students' inaccurate understanding of "Tight" and "Loose" will result in many problems in their singing practice. By saying "Tight", we mean that the related vocal organs should keep tight and excited, but not being stiff; By saying "Loose", we refer to the relaxation of the irrelevant vocal organs, but not to loosen on slacken oneself physically and psychologically. "Loose" and "Tight" are relative. The tightness of some vocal organs guarantees the looseness of some others. "Tight" and "Loose" should be dealt with in a moderate way.II. The Accumulation of Memory vs. the Consolidation of singing state. The process of consolidation of singing state is a continuous accumulation of memorization of the correct voice image. The general memory rule also applies equally to the study of vocal music. Different memory method functions differently in the establishment and consolidation of the singing state. Reasonable and scientific utilization of the memory rules, adopting different memory methods from various angles, makes us have a firmer memory of the correct singing state and re-exhibit it more accurately, more over, shorten the process possibly within the reasonable scope.III. Voice vs. FeelingThe perfect performance of the music work becomes an empty talk, without the correct phonation methods and excellent singing techniques. However, vocal music techniques by no means equal vocal music art. Only the devotion of feelings can make phonating techniques shine brilliantly, and make the work emerge its artistic charm. Vocal music can never be complete when technique and feeling are splitted."Conveying feeling through voice" and "bettering voice through feeling" seem contradictory on the surface, whereas they are just the two sides of a core. The latter lays emphasis on the influence of feelings on phonation techniques and the firmer focuses on the fundamental and decisive functions of phonation techniques on the expression of feelings. In a word, "bettering voice through feeling" is a method, a means, and "Conveying feeling through voice" is the final purpose.IV. Teaching vs. learningThe teaching process of vocal music is interactive, thus, teaching must be in, accordance with the current level of the students, meanwhile, surpasses their present level moderately. Teacher should produce a harmonious and active classroom atmosphere, stirs up the creativity of students and strengthen the students' corpus consciousness so as to enhance their cooperation with teacher. In all, the teaching result is eventually should by the students themselves.V. Attainment of Aesthetic Appreciation vs. Artistic ExpressionSingers ought to have exquisite stage qualities. Here, quality refers to the spirit exhibited by the singer's accomplishment of culture, art, aesthetic appreciation etc. A vocal mu...
