Peculiar Marriage Under The Veil Of Complex

The thesis mainly discusses the main heroine Dorothea Brooke's marriage choice inMiddlemarch written by George Eliot. First, the thesis mentions that whether Dorothea'schoice is wise or not in her two marriages is not important, in this article, the focus is whyDorothea chooses Casaubon as her first husband, and after the failure of her first marriage,she despites the disapproval which comes from society, friends, even relatives, choosingLadislaw as her second husband.
