Tang Shi is one of the poets in the school of JiuYe, which is called Modern Brightness School in the academe. With regard to Tang Shi's poems, in the past, more attention was paid to his modernity than his romanticism. However, Tang Shi is a typical romantic poet. This article tries to find out the subjective sense of space-time and the illusional estheticism in his poets which are indited in his rough youth, tearful and bloody middle age, and peaceful old age. Consequently we can approve Tang Shi's romanticism. However, Tang Shi is different from Guo Moruo and Xu Zhimo, among them, Guo Moruo belongs to self-reliance romanticism, and Xu Zhimo belongs to disabusing romanticism, while Tang Shi inclines to transform individual life into nature and transform ego existence into illusion. He is simple and complex. In the school of JiuYe, he is a passing traveller in modern poems but a skipper in romantic poems. As a poet who absorbs all kinds of poesy merits, Tang Shi forms his own style by integrating the merits of three poetry tide on Chinese Parnassus - his romanticism sorbs the spirit, style and approach of realism and modernism. Tang Shi is a most simple and pure-hearted humanistic lyric poet, as well as a compositive poet who can persist in his own way.
