A Study On Contact Of Uygur And Chinese Language And On Its Bilingual Development Of Xinjiang In Modern Times

This dissertation is on the basis of referring to and using the past achievements acquired by former people , making comprehensive use of linguistics, sociology and history etc. by means of the linguistics, history , ethnology etc. data .combining the factors such as politics, economy, culture and population etc. of Xingjiang in modern times, putting the contact between Uygur and Chinese language and its bilingual development condition to a big social surroundings to investigate, and analysing the interactions of various factors in the process, investigating the control or affecting the mechanism of these interactions, then arriving at the reason, characteristics and regulation on the contact of Uygur and Chinese language and on its bilingual development of Xinjiang in modern times, namely the interactions of these factors , which are the miscellaneous nationalities to reside and to need mutually, the language idea, language policy, bilingual education, nationalities relations by marriage etc., prompted the contact between Uygur and Chinese language and kept on its bilingual development .The dissertation is divided into four chapters.Chapter I is an introduction. It mainly discusses the great significance of the contact of Uygur and Chinese language and their bilingual development condition, and outlining the present research condition of the former problem in currently academic field, still introducing the textual research way of thinking and methods.
