"Product is the physical wealth made by human." There're multifarious products in our life. The duty of product is to satisfy people's needs. Product is continuously evolving with the development of people's needs. From the first stone tool for living to nowadays various electronic products, all of them have been satisfying the physical and cultural wants of people. In modern times, product is not only a tool, but also necessity in human's living environment. It gets more and more close to people. The role it plays is changing. Product can not only show some personal characteristics of its owner, but also be a friend to communicate with.Firstly, the background, the purpose and the means of emotion design are introduced in this paper . Today, people expect that product can fully reflect their values and enrich their everyday life. In another word, people want more experiences from product. A famous market expert, concludes "Emotion Experience" in three aspects: Emotion Stimulus, Value System and Evaluation. Accordingly, we discuss the three aspects from the perspectives of Psychology.Secondly, all factors affecting users to acquire emotion experience are studied. In this paper, product is respectively regarded as an attribute container, a user company and an event trigger, which presents different product emotional stimulus. In the analysis of product value system, the relation between product value system and experience is provided. As for evaluation, it is claimed that certain evaluation is related to certain cognition level according to certain style.Finally, a research framework on product emotion design is given. Different aspects that build the product's emotion factors are related to each other in this framework, which gives a skeleton of the research. Moreover, this framework is used to analyze some classic cases of product emotion designs.
