The Contrast Research Of Characters' Criticism In JinPingmei Of Zhangzhu-po And WenLong

In the histories of Jinpingmei's criticism,ZhangZhu-po's commentary and WenLong's ones are two peaks. The character's criticisms on JinPingmei have undergone a course which is from the simple analyses to the complicated remark. ZhangZhu-po and WenLong's remarks have formed their distinguishing features on the conditions that they draw lessons from the reasonable factors which have argued it before. The argurments that are on WuYue-niang,MenYu-Lou and PangChun-mei place information and comments on the times, imbuing with their spirits. Because of the spirits absorbing of ZhangZhu-po and efforts of WenLong on the objective criterion, it reflects the changes on the times,society and the academic commentary on novel itself. The practical and ideological trends grew rigorously twice in the early and late of the Qing dynasty, which had become scholar and gentry's awareness. With the comments on the characters, ZhangZhu-po and WenLong paid close attentions to society. ZhangZhu-po, a young and rigorous man, his scholarship was better than his experiences. He remarked the characters at will. WenLong had gone through the dark society and saw many scandals,so that he could seek truths from facts of the characters themselves. In Zhang's life, he was always in difficulties or misery, died without turning his ambition into reality.The family and women around Zhang also affected his ideas on women in JinPingmei. Take MenYu-lou for example, her ambition of dominating family by ways of exercise forbearance was one of the reflectances of Zhang's proud. To comment on MengYu-lou and PangChun-mei correctly, WenLong maked his judgments on the bottom of environments'factors. In the academic commentary on novel, ZhangZhu-po and WenLong explored the artistic law consciously and accelerated the development of this study. ZhangZhu-po adored and inherited JinSheng-tan in privaty.especially in the judgments on WuYue-niang. Carrying on Jin's regulation, Zhang could express deliberately and convey his own ideas. WenLong inherited widely and judged calmly the achievements. By selecting the essence and abandoning the appearance, WenLong had obtained outstanding achievements. Owing to his avoiding consciously, using scarcely the satirical grammars and paying much attention to the research on novel's version, WenLong's commentaries were close to the essence of the characters. Judging with the differences between Zhang's and Wen's, although the practical and ideological trends and their diving conditions affected them to some extent, the critical reason was the stages that they lain in the study of novel commentary and the degrees which they had understood and researched this study. Laying particular emphasis on the understanding of themselves, Zhang's and Wen's were a pair of cultural chain which they interchanged each other. After their great efforts, novel criticism developed and formed firmly the theoretical base contemporarily literary criticism. ZhangZhu-po and WenLong were both recognized the literary criticism's value which readers and authors were the principal parts to build novel version,which made readers'consciousness understood clearly by novel criticism. Being a man who cared for our contemporarily cultural situation and dedicated himself to the novel research. It was their duties to inherit the literary criticism tradition and build our Chinese particular novel criticism.
