Vritual culture heritage of architecture means recover, imitate, reappear, lay out and preserve the ancient architecture, historical remains and cultural relic by digital technic, mainly it refers to vritual reality technology. It is a perfect combination of technology and art. As a brand new digital work, it must express the art and cultural information of the ancient architecture as much as possible. The authenticity of the work is not only include how can realize in technic, but also focus on how can express it in proper art method. Emphasizing artistry is an important way to improve the work' expressive force.This thesis mainly do some research on the relationship between "art" and "technology", focused on the art effect of space, sculpt, material and light which can enhance the atmosphere of space and the reality of heritage of architecture, also it can improve the visual effect. Besides the thesis give analysis of the assistant effect of digital vritual reality technology, its emphases are developments of traditional aesthetics, culture and digital arts, light effect of vritual space of architecture and the importance of artists' expressive force, creativity, imagination forcomposing vritual culture heritage of architecture, and demonstrated the art quality is the root and soul of vritual culture heritage of architecture. It is should be more important than technology quality.The practice department of the thesis is design and realize of "the Virtual Re-creation and Demo system of Lingyan Temple". Through the practical process of the symbol architectures of Lingyan Temple, Pizhi Tower of Song dynasty, Kilo-Buddha Palace of Ming dynasty, Grand Hall of Qing dynasty, Bell and Drum Tower, Luban Cavity and Five-flower Palace, the thesis gave analysis to such a statement that virtual reality technology is only an assistant means during the process of building up virtual culture heritage of architecture, and the importance of artistry in such a process which is create architecture space, part components, materials, light effects of space and the foil of halation, atmosphere and foggy effects. Above all should be included in sculpt and color issues in art design. Art representation can deal with the reality whether attributed into sensibility reality or art reality.Besides, because virtual reality technology is more and more popular and the specialists and research institutions are paid much attention on it, this thesis emphasizes the "popularization" of virtual culture heritage of architecture. "The Virtual Re-creation and Demo System of Lingyan Temple" is designed and carried out through popular design soft wares, which are based on PC. It finished the whole process of issuingexecutable files through simulation soft wares from building up virtual space. It demonstrated the possibility of realizing the virtual reality works and building up virtual culture heritage of architecture in common PC which it can be more popular for the masses.Finally, the thesis made a conclusion and a prospect of dummy culture heritage of architecture. Its main idea is virtual reality technology will be the represent means of artists, and the artistry of virtual reality works will be paid more and more attention by the people. The work of virtual reality in the future will be apt to how to exercise the technology, which is means how we can represent the reality of space art by using virtual reality technology.
