Seek The Combination Of "the Autonomy" Theory And "the Heteronomy" Theory

The literature history viewpoint of Turri Tynianov and that of Mikhail Bakhtin have close relations. There are some researches on the literature history viewpoint of Turri Tynianov and that of Mkhail Bakhtin in the academic circles. However, these researches have not recognized the interdependence of the two literature history viewpoints. Moreover, even this kind of research lacks systematical and comprehensive analysis. Based on this, this thesis aims at sorting out the mutual relations between the literature history viewpoint of Turri Tynianov and that of Mkhail Bakhtin, comparing the success and failure of the two literature history viewpoints in resolving the relations between "the autonomy" and "the heteronomy". Its positive sense not only lies in giving us a more profound recognization on the two literature history viewpoints, but also giving us an important enlightenment about "rewrites the history of literature".This thesis takes the combination of "the autonomy" theory and "the heteronomy" theory as its main thread with due attention to the analysis of the literature history viewpoint of Russia Formalism. The analysis of the literature history viewpoint of Turri Tynianov emphasizes that he put forward "the system", "the function", in an attempt to slove the problem of how to combine "the autonomy" and "the heteronomy" and to overcome the dilemma caused by the machinery "the autonomy"of earlier Russia Formalism. The analysis further points out that Turri Tynianov failed to get out of the dualism of "the autonomy" and "the heteronomy". As regards to the literature history viewpoint of Mikhail Bakhtin, this thesis will study how Mikhail Bakhtin changed the objective of literature from "the form" to "the esthetic object" and thereby found out the connection between "the autonomy" and "the heteronomy".It also emphasizes that Mikhail Bakhtin attached great importance to the function of "subjectivity". Mikhail Bakhtin's theory of ideology lifted the research of the the literature history out of its dilemma by combining "the autonomy" and "the heteronomy".
