Nostalgia culture sprang up at the time of the social style transition, deriving from the people's unsuitable consciousness of the new lifestyle to long for the old lifestyle and the global contexts' culture reflection. Nostalgia movies, presenting as its prime mental realizations, start an upsurge of nostalgia around the whole China. This dissertation which focus on this remarkable culture phenomenon analyses these nostalgia movies of the mainland of China and Hong Kong comprehensively from the 1980s .Foreword part:Generally introduce the cause and current situation of the nostalgia movie and classify for principle four parts.Chapter one: Discuss the background of causing the Chinese nostalgia movie in the late century. As the mainland of China and Hong Kong had been in the social system's transition period from the 1980s, a batch of the nostalgia movies were came out under the "globalization of nostalgia" context.Chapter two: Analyze the nostalgia consciousness of the creation subjects. At this point, we mainly analyses the motivation of the creation subjects. It can include three parts: the memory of trying to find lose, the pursuit of identity and the infatuation and imagination of one certain history period.Chapter three: Discuss the narrative thesis of the nostalgia movie. "Nostalgia" means picking up the missing desires continuously. Therefore, "Time", "memory" and "nostalgia" are made up of the main theses of the nostalgia movie.Chapter four: Analyze the narrative form of the nostalgia movie.
