The article analyzes baroque spirit from its styles and characters. That is order tofind some connotation that the modernistic literature also has. The modernisticliterature has its own production, background, technique and idea. The author wantsto grasp the relation between the baroque and modernism. There has some discussionabout Rubens the representative artist for the sake of the introduction of baroque.Baroque plastic arts and expressional arts came into being earlier than literature, butthey have the same spirit. The argumentation of painting can help clarifying theproblem of literature. In the end, there is the conclusion the comparability betweenbaroque and modernism. The thesis is divided into two parts. There is the depiction of creative practice ofRubens and baroque character in the first part. And the author wants to establish a sortof relation between the modernism and baroque by explain the baroque andmodernistic literature and their respective feathers in the second parts. The secondchapter also has five sections the modernistic literature' introduction, thecomparability between the baroque and modernistic background, the same humanismspirit, the baroque literature and the conclusion.
