The research adopted mixed experimental designs to explore the characteristics of dynamic perceptual representations of Chinese negative sentence. It took the Chinese negative declarative sentences and negative imperative sentences with contradictory predicate as experimental materials. The response latency and accurate rate of the pictures were collected as the experimental data. There were two experiments to investigate the Chinese negative declarative sentences and negative imperative sentences individually. The research indicated: 1) In negative sentences comprehension, simulations of negated state and actual state of affair didn't always follow the orders predicated by the Two-Step Simulation Hypothesis in which the negated state of affair was always simulated during the initial period, then the simulation of actual state of affair. But under Chinese condition, the simulation of actual state of affair was achieved at the initial or mid period. 2) The achievement of simulation of actual state of affair was constrained by the pragmatic factors. Negation was not the opposite inference of the propositional contents within the negation scope. 3) The differences among the probe time were significant. There was the top period for the representation of visual perceptual symbols.
