The Study On Sentence Pattern Of Inscriptions On Oracle Bones Unearthed From The Eastern Locus At Huayuanzhuang, Yinxu

The study on sentence pattern is one of the important components of grammar study. In order to determine sentence pattern of a certain language, we are supposed to study its grammar, that is, analyze grammatical unit, grammatical structure and kinds of grammatical phenomenon.This thesis applies the basic principle of Transformational-generative Grammar combining statistical method to make an exhaustive study of the sentence pattern of inscriptions on Huadong Oracle Bone, which is a group of non-monarch inscriptions buried at fixed location during the same period. In a sense, the thesis is of great significance to study sentence pattern and grammar of inscriptions on Huadong Oracle Bone and inscriptions on other oracle bones.The thesis is made up of five chapters.
