The Comparison Of Zeng-guo-fan And Zeng-ji-ze Diplomatic Thoughts

Laty-Qing Dynasty is regarded as a huge change which never happened in china 3000 years. When the colonists came to the east ,the west conflicted with China continuously. How to deal with the western country had been a urgent assignment to Qing Dynasty. The diplomacy was considered as a way which could save the nation in that time. Zeng-guo-fan and Zeng-ji-ze were famous person in Chinese modern history. Zeng-guo-fan was a high officials who took the first step of moderning in China. Zeng-ji-ze was one of the longest sended diplomats of Qing Dynasty. But till now ,scholars only study them separately, they haven't compare their diplomatic thoughts completely. My thesis will try to research their diplomatic thoughts of father and son ,comparing the sameness and difference of their's .From these pursue the diplomatic ideal and cognition of two intellect generation. All of these reflected the diplomatic track of Qing-Dynasty from tradition to modern. Furthermore, explain the complications of Laty-Qing Dynasty . My thesis may be provide some useful advice for diplomacy nowadays.Five chapters will be presented.The introduction : explains the significance of the topic, studies actuality and the most important prombles of thesis concerns.Chaper â…  :The diplomatic consensus of father and son. They had consensus in peace polity ,honesty policy and safeguard Chinese benefit. Especially, in study the west Zeng-ji-ze went further than his father. They also wanted to obtain peaceful surroundings for China through peace policy and honesty policy. These policy had benefit for Chinese existence and development. Through safeguard policy defended Chinese independence ,exploring the road to Chinese prosperity .These policies were suitable for modern diplomacy and the reality of China which also were the quintessences of their thoughts.
