"Shide(似的)" And The Structure Of "Shide (似的)"

This following paper is a survey of the usage of "shide (似的)" and classifies "shide (似的)" in terms of three rules such as the kinds of constructions and immediate constituents of constructions and the semantic features. And meanwhile, we propose that the classifications are leveled so classified " shide (似的) " to four kinds, i.e. the adjective and adverbial enclitics, and post-positing linkers and particle, those four kinds are finally proposed in terms of their syntactic function. Also, those four kinds can be unified by the cognitive rules that we know the world from ourselves to other things, and the meaning of " shide (似的)" range from proposing to comparing so rethinking a member from one domain to another, and it's function as state and unboundness grammatically. The paper also focuses on the function of particle " shide (似的)", proposes that it's a confirmation of the fact so the degree of confirmation is low, and it also takes a background in the speech.The structure of "shide (似的)"is an exocentric construction with opposition to an endocentric construction and there is no centers in this structure. But in terms of N.Chomsky's head theory "shide (似的)" is a head of this structure. We apply self-reference and hetero-reference of the structure of "de (的)" mechanically and divide the structure of "shide (似的)" into tow kinds, i.e. self-statement and hetero-statement. The latter structure implies a word. Even though this word does not appear, the position of this word is in existence. And meanwhile, we concretely analyse X's semantic feature in "X shide (似的)" .As a noun, X's semantic feature is prototype and low animacy and weak reference. As an adjective, X's semantic feature is autonomous. As a verb, X's semantic feature is autonomous in the hetero-statement structure; it is non-autonomous in the self-statement structure. The symmetry and asymmetry between affirmation and negation have been discussed in the structure of " shide (似的)". Generally, the structure of " shide (似的)" can not be negated ,for it describes prototype feature. The semantic indeterminacy is applicable to explain this structure. We can not differentiate the state and the comparing and the proposing. We explain the reasonable classification of " xiang (像) /shide (似的)" in terms of the certification of " xiang (像) " as a copular verb in the structure of "像X似的" .
