With the development of China, many Chinese people regard English language as an important international communication tool. However, Chinglish often poses an obstacle in learning Chinese-English translation skills: Although many translated versions may be correct in English grammar and spelling, they are not good translations. Sometimes, some translations are done in such poor English that they become a laughing stock among the native speakers. What is more, as the misunderstanding appeared in C-E translation, these versions can not be accepted by native speakers. Interference from our mother tongue might be the main cause of these problems. C-E translation is a sort of bilingual two-way action. The translator often ignores the differences between Chinese and English, when making word choices. The translator's confusion about collocations, syntactic structures, thought patterns, and cultural backgrounds make it impossible for him or her to do a good job in translating. Although the translators are always trying to"forgetting themselves", in fact, the interference of Chinese often appears in their translations. The language in the translation is Chinglish, a portmanteau of the words"Chinese"and"English". The Chinglish problem is the main obstacle to enhancing the quality of C-E translation and has seriously affected the communication between the two languages.Many scholars have recently done a lot of researches about Chinglish. But still there are systemic theories about Chinglish problems in C-E translation. There are too few possible solutions to the problems posed by Chinglish. After studying the research papers about Chinglish, this author has tried to do some research in this field.In Chapter one, Piaget's viewpoints and Chinglish phenomena: According to Genetic Epistemology(found by Piaget who was the famous Swiss psychologist and philosopher),the author compares the differences, such as thought pattern, cultural background,between English and Chinese, and discuss what caused Chinglish problems in order to distinguish and avoid them.In Chapter Two, the problems of Chinglish in C-E translation: the author followed the famous professor Pinkham's book"The Translator's Guide to Chinglish", and...
