Environmental Ethics Research In Contemporary Science And Technology

As well as the major factor to cause the environmental issues, science and technology also are the major approach to solve them. In the development of contemporary science and technology, how to avoid all sorts of questions which the technical innovation and application brings, fully unfold the value, and achieve coordinated development of man and nature, is one of core questions which the society pay attention to. So it is very important to analyze the science and technology from the environmental ethics and post the science's negative influence to the environment as well as its function on the relationship between human and nature.The present thesis closely centers on the science and technology and the environment question. Firstly, by analyzing the negative effects to the ecological environment of science and technology from the aspect of environmental ethics, it announced the negative effects on the environment of the contemporary science and technology. Secondly, the thesis discusses the reasons which produce the negative effects to ecological environment in science and technology and obtains the conclusion is that both the limitation of technology and irrationally use about technology exert a negative influence on the environment. Thirdly, on the basis of carefully examining the value of contemporary science and technology, the author determines the contemporary science and technology should have the value orientation, namely organic unification of the humanities value orientation and the environment value orientation. Then, the thesis propos the contemporary science and technology should follow the coordinated development, continue to develop, the risk guards against three environments ethics principle. Finally, in carries on how environment ethics applies to the technical practice, the author attempts to put forward countermeasure and suggestions to take precautions against and dissolve the negative effects on the environment in four ways.
