Baotaping Site is located at the north bank of Changjiang River, one kilometer east from the Old County of Fengjie County, Chongqing City. In order to cooperate with the construction of Sanxia reservoir, there are totally five times excavation have carried through since 2000 in the large area of Baotaping Site, and numbers of tombs and relics of Tang and Song Dynasty were discovered as the valuable material for restituting the historical visage of Sanxia area in Tang and Song Dynasty. This thesis gives the preliminary research on tombs of Tang and Song Dynasty in Baotaping, basing on the former three times excavation.There are six parts in the thesis.The first part is the foreword. In this part, the geographical location of tombs of Tang and Song Dynasty in Baotaping, Fengjie County is given firstly, and then the geographical evolution and the administrative adscription in the past dynasties of Fengjie County from the time of being set up as a county are introduced briefly. The range of the referenced material and the meaning of the research in this thesis are narrated finally.The second part is the research on the relics from tombs of Tang and Song Dynasty in Baotaping. There are numbers of funerary objects in tombs of Tang and Song Dynasty in Baotaping, and this thesis gives the division of types and patterns and the introduction about china,pottery and bronze ware in detail, and that also gives the brief introduction about ironware,stoneware,coins,woodenware,silverware and some others. Where after, the chronological conjecture about most china,pottery and bronze ware is showed by the method of analogical research, at the same time, the investigation about the producing area of china is given, too. And the point of view is that the china excavated from tombs of Tang and Song Dynasty in Baotaping are mostly the native celadon and black vitreous enamel from Qiong kiln, concurrently, there are also a spot of product from the kiln in...
