| Pre-school period is very specific and important during one's whole life .Play is the main action and significant existent way ,which passes through all the pre-school children's growth and development ,and has the prominent function for the children's development. Psychologists , educationalists and sociologists are all paying attention to children's play action. While recently the research on social skill is becoming the important theoretical and practical issue. Social skill in preschool period has prominent long-term and short-term effects.The first part of the paper is the research review, which expatiates the theoretical and practical applied values of children's play research . The play value for children's psychological development is not only limited during the children period , but also expressed in the subsequent adult life. That is to say , play has not only the short-term effect but also the long-term effect. The value of children's play is not to teach them some kind of cognitive skill or take on some role, but to transmit the behavioral frame under the specific culture , and to teach children how to look on behavior connecting the scene and how to evaluate things in connection . Through different plays, children's inner action and inner world become independent outside self-expression , and get happiness freedom and satisfaction ,and keep inner and outside balance.The second part of the paper is the review of the current research of the social skill. Through the review of the social skill during the children's play , we further explore the significant influence , which children's play affects social skill form .Effective social skill can make children communicate with others using the positive meaning and in-violent way in the subsequent life .The children who have better social skill can form the better friendship with others , and bear the"opposite people",cooperate well with others, construct self social support...
