Abstract: Portrait identification is the important content of forensic Psychology, and the focus topic of this is to explore the criterion and mark of judging whetherPortrait identification is correct. Though the basis research of Portrait identification------face recognition and applied research of Portrait identification all have some achievement, it is no new progress to this topic now. This research applying the advanced and accurate method of eye movement analysis is to explore the difference of every types of portrait identification (hit (H), false alarm (FA), correct rejection (CR), omit (OM)) corresponding eye movement. In Theory this research is try to explore the Process of Cognition Processing on correct and incorrect identification. In practice the purpose of this research is to probe the criterion and mark of judging whether Portrait identification is correct, and to provide empirical proof to applied research on Portrait identification.Applying the advanced and accurate method of eye movement analysis to studying Portrait identification can obtain rich criterion and date. This research by mains of more dependent variable and from different angles reflects the difference of every types of portrait identification corresponding eye movement. This will rich and promote studying portrait identification. This research contains four experiments, the contents of the four experiments as follows: The effect of the changes of external feature on portrait identification, the difference of every types of portrait identification corresponding eye movement, the difference of eye movement on learning and identifying portrait, the difference of eye movement on fixing different facial features. I draw some conclusions form this research:1. The coincidence of external feature on learning and identifying has significant effect on portrait identification.
