Autonomy is conceptualized as children and adolescents' participation in decision making regarding matters that concerns the self , and it refers to the ability to make decisions independently and to follow through on these decisions with actions , including acting on her or his own and making decisions, we call this decisional or behavioral autonomy. The development of adolescence autonomy is the most component of mental health. Autonomy in personal issues is important for the development of personality and sociality. 251 children and adolescents aged 8 to 16 years old were investigated by questionnaires and interview in light of different domains (moral, conventional, personal, and friendship domains) to research about behavioral autonomy and parenting style of collectivist culture in China .①The results suggested that child and adolescents' justments of legitimacy and their obedience to parental authority changed with different domains, ②From 8 to 16, child and adolescence viewed personal issues to be more legitimately subject to personal jurisdiction, ③ From 8 to 16, child and Adolescents' justifications of personal issues focused on personal reasons, ④ There are significant sex differences only for rule justments of legitimacy in personal diary, ⑤Parenting style predicted for 8 to 16 years old children' s behavioral autonomy. Among three parenting style, only authoritative parents appeared to maintain clear boundaries between moral, conventional, and personal issues in their judgments andjustifications.
