The Active Role Of Islamism In Construct A Socialist Harmonious Society Of Xinjiang

Communist Party of China proposed a strategic goal of"Building a socialistic harmonious society". This is once more deep growing to the theory of socialism construction with Chinese characteristics that the party pronounced on the basis of scientific views of development. Religious work is the important constituent part of the Party's national affairs. Xinjiang is a region with a great variety of peoples and religions. To ensure our people in Xinjiang society a relatively comfortable life, we should guide Xinjiang Islamism fit in with socialistic society and let it play an active role in constructing a socialistic harmonious society of Xinjiang.In Xinjiang, Islam religion has 3 prominent features, eg: lots of religious people, lots of religious practice locations, lots of religious vicars. Islamic culture has a major effect on national ideology, ethics and morals, code of behavior, habits and characteristics. In a sense, we pay regard to absorption of the active part of the Islamic culture. This is to respect religious faith of Xinjiang national minority, the culture of national minority and the people of national minority.Under the socialistic condition, Islamism must play an active role within the whole social life. This is necessary not only due to the objective requirement of socialistic constructions for Xinjiang, but is also essential for the self existence and development of Xinjiang Islamism. The purpose of this thesis is to provide a theoretical reference for Islamism to play an active role in construction of harmonious society of Xinjiang.
