Research On Transcribed China's Piano Composition

Content:Piano,a kind of western musical instrument,originating from different culture environments,possesses entirely different styles and characteristics from Chinese traditional musical instruments.Therefore,how to perform musical works of different styles in our country with the alien musical instrument and how to blend it with traditional Chinese music in order to reveal our nation's music style,have turned into the principal problem remaining to be solved in order to explore a road of characteristic piano nationalization.China's piano music development started from the 1920's,in the process of nearly one century ,Chinese composers have made active contribution to it with incessant exertion.After examing present compositions,those transcribed piano music based on traditional Chinese music have reached conspicuous achievements,regarding nationalization of piano music,and it deserved us consciencious research,generalization in order to push the construction and development of China's piano culture.China's traditional music has a long history with apparent national characteristic,it has its root in China,growing in China and melting with China's traditional culture,inseperable.Our country's traditional music ,with its unique art technique of expression and profound marks of national traits and charms,has possessed its special and significant place in the blooming garden of Chinese piano music.The transcribed compositions mentioned here refer to those piano compositions basically with its original melody and structure,in other word,their original appearances have been maximumly retained by extending the performance functions of musical instrument of piano,combining,the devices of the harmony and polyphony of the West with the melody of China together,thereby have created the polyphonic piano texetures of nationalization and developed piano music with national characteristics of polyphonic thinking style.The thesis consists of three chapters:Chapter one generally introduces transcribed China's piano compositions,which are devided into two major types:transcribed ones basing on national instrumental music and transcribed ones based on folk songs.Chapter two describes the structural properties of transcribed China's piano compositions,which includes:extensive application of the structural principal of variation in transcribed China's piano composition,peculiar demonstration of the...
