Peculiar Popular Music

The purpose of this essay is to discuss one form of expressions of American Pop music---Rap.Firstly, it narrates the connotation and extension of Rap, and the forms of expression of Pop before Rap. Then it discusses about the emerge, evolution and diversion, existence surrounding and specific form of expression of Rap during the developing of Pop. After that it discusses the spirit core of Rap and the reasons of popularity of social psychology and historical certainty of its decaying. Finally it discusses the developing processes from Rap to Hip-Hop. The essay manages to do a preliminary research on the social position of Pop music in music history, its expression connotation and the reasons of Popularity by studying its specific form Rap in Pop music.
