The Inquiry And Analysis Of East Mongolia Ruled By Aruγtai

At the beginning of the 15th century when kun timur khan of North Yuan was murdered and Uruk timiir became Grand Khan of Mongolia,the political situation of Mongolia took on a new aspect .It was Aruγtai who was a key person in the regime of East Mongolia during this period.He,who had been the privy minister of East Mongolia ,was seen in February ,1403 in some historical records.He dominated East Mongolia for over 30 years before he was killed by Toγan in Oyirad in July,1434.He first assisted Uruk timiir Khan to rule East Mongolia and then he made Punyahsri and Adai Grand khans one after another .He contended with Ming dynasty on the south while contending for supremacy against Oyirad on the west.Under quite a hard situation ,he spent almost all his energy on maintaining this alternately rising-and-declining Mongolian regime .On the basis of former worthies'studies,this paper will take further analysis to this subject and I will offer my own understandings and viewpoints.This essay is divided into six sections:introduction.(1)the situation of the Mongolian Plateau at the beginning of the 15th century (2)Aruγtai assisted Uruk timiir Khan.(3)Aruγtai and Punyahsri (4)Tayisi of East Mongolia,Heningwang of Ming dynasty.(5)To contend for supremacy against Oyirad.(6) Aruγtai's being defeated and destroyed &Influences brought in by the former on the situation of Mongolia .
