Ponder On Traditions Of Realizing Vital Phenomena

Human's knowledge about life and vital phenomena is quite important to human's existence and development. Historically, there have been two distinct traditions on idea in the scientific knowledge system: the tradition of natural history and the tradition of experimental physiology. At the same time, these two traditions are two patterns in realizing life and vital phenomena; they are also the clues to scientific knowledge about life and vital phenomena. The classic nature science was born in the European renaissance. Scientific Weltanschauung and methodology, which uses classic physics as their core, deeply influenced the biology, the tradition of experimental physiology has been inherited and developed into apex. But from the middle of 20 centuries, the theory frame of classic physics has been broken out, and the modern zoology problem has become more and more critical. All these make people doubt about the tradition of experimental physiology, which is now still in dominant position. More reasonable and more general knowledge about life and vital phenomena is undoubtedly essential and necessary; this knowledge would decide what kind of future and what kind of destiny we human have to face on.
