The Research Of YaoChun's Ci

YaoChun, a famous scholar of the later Qing Dynasty, lived a long age that spans from Emperor QianLong, JiaQing to XianFeng .He lives as a teacher, and is famous of his poetry and articles. Compare with his abundant works, , although a very small part with only 311 pieces, is worthy to research. Unfortunately, people ignore it for a long time, and the research is almost a virgin land. In this thesis, the writer tries to cast a brick to attract jade, and arouse more research in this realm.The first part is an introduction of YaoChun's life, works and his literature thoughts. In his times, many scholars and famous Confucians thought ci is a "trifling skill" of the Tao, and disdained to write ci, while YaoNai, who is YaoChun's teacher, and ZhuXi, a famous Confucian, are two typical examples. But YaoChun had a different opinion, which, in his time, had the positive meaning. He thought, not to write evil and dissolute articles, ci is surely a part of Tao.The second part analysis the contents in two sides. One is full of grief and desolate feelings, while the other reflects YaoChun's wondering life. In the first side, we see how the feeling flows and changes, which the social condition is the main reason, in different pieces, and also, we learn the significance of researching the change. And in the second, the author writes his happy and sorrow, his homesick and content. Although, we can still find the feeling in his heart keeps the same whenever he is young or old, suffers frustration or not.The third part analysis the art achievement of . Correspond with the contents, the artistic style appears in two respects too: majestic and fresh. The artistic skills of reposing, comparison, and transforming poetry into ci and so on, make the articles more impressing and colorful.The conclusion ends this thesis with a positive opinion of , both it's achievements in literature and reflecting literati's feeling of the social at that time. Actually, the feeling is a window from which you can learn all the literati who has conscience and social responsibility. So, it's a significant thing to study , and more attentions should put on it.
