The thesis cuts in from the angle of the poetic connotations of Xiao Hong's fictions by means of sorting out the historical data and textual analysis, aiming to dig out the unique fascination of her creations and depict her successful writing experience as well as her contributions to the current history of literature, with an expectation to offer beneficial references to the following creations and researches.As a daughter of Hulan River, Xiao Hong was broadened her insights and minds and endowed with unrestrained and obstinate character by the grand and copious Northeast. She subtly grasped humanity, life, survival and ethnic culture with her unique artistic sensitivity and insisted on spiritually free writing. In the creations, Xiao Hong fully released her personal experience, aesthetic taste and spiritual stand as well as constructed her own writing garden, and thus became an independent author with individual feature and long artistic life.
