From the view of modernity, this article is going to discuss Zhou Zuoren's feminism thoughts. In fact, his thoughts of liberation of women are the result of the integration of traditional Confucian resource and modern western humanities. At first, this article discusses the connotation and function of ration in Zhou Zuoren's feminism thoughts. He criticizes the old knowledge system with modern scientific knowledge. He emphasizes it is important for women to enhance their cognition ability by learning the thinking mode and spirit of modern science. Comparing to the outside world, Zhou Zuoren thinks it is much more important for women to know the truth of human and how life goes on . And then ,we discuss his view of the idea life for women. Zhou Zuoren pays more attention to emotion which was ignored since Song dynasty. He argues that the best life for women is the harmoniousness of ration and emotion. Afer that, we are trying to find out the political and economical way to liberate women. Zhou Zuoren thinks the best and the only way to liberate women is to establish a communistic society. However, he tries to distinguish the difference between women liberation and communism revolution and he reminds us never sacrificing women by the name of country. At last, we discuss the view of body. Since women is more related to body, to change the view of body is to change the view of women. Zhou Zuoren criticizes the argument that body is inferior to spirit, which demonstrates a dualistic way of thinking. Instead, he advocates a more comprehensive thinking mode. Except that, he reminds us that we put too much attention to the sizes and manners of woman's body which actually is harmful to women and we should clear up pornography which is armed to materialize women as a tool of sex .
