The academic circle have made overall researches in this work, which made it one of the most important fields in the entire researches on ancient novels with its great accomplishments and widespread influences. However ,taking a sweeping view on the research findings, we can see that most of the researches focus on the aspects of its origin,thought art,characterizations,rectifications to mistakes and effects .There are some shortcomings on the studies of its successful resourcefulness, which plays an important role in the novel .As a result, it is necessary that more profound and overall research work should be given to the descriptions of its resourcefulness so that we can get a better under standing of the novel and find out guiding role in the current social life.By the means of looking up in the documentary ancient books and recording with real investigations, this paper adopts the methods of integration of comparison and analysis, and makes a study of the "resourcefulness" culture historical origins,the classification and analyzing on resourcefulness description .The paper also learned its value,Far-reaching effect and positions.
